Greenwich Concours Celebrates Three Decades of Automotive Excellence
Greenwich, Connecticut is poised to host a landmark event in the classic car world as the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance gears up for its 30th anniversary celebration from May 29 to May 31. Recognized as the longest-running automotive concours in the Northeast, this year's iteration promises three days of unparalleled automotive splendor, showcasing hundreds of rare and iconic vehicles, alongside exclusive driving experiences and luxurious hospitality at the picturesque Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.
A Legacy of Iconic Automobiles and Restorative Artistry

For three decades, the Greenwich Concours has cultivated a sterling reputation for featuring a curated selection of the world's most significant automobiles. This anniversary event is no exception, with a stunning array of vehicles slated for display across various meticulously judged classes. Enthusiasts can anticipate seeing legendary machines such as a 1937 Cord 812, famously once owned by aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, which will be part of a special display from the Hagerty Drivers Foundation and the National Historic Vehicle Register.
Further highlights include a magnificent 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, a timeless symbol of automotive performance and design, and a majestic 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Also gracing the event will be a 1938 Talbot-Lago T-150-C SS, a testament to exquisite pre-war French styling and engineering, with one such example, chassis 90111, having undergone a meticulous restoration to its original 1938 configuration by Paul Russell and Company.
The Concours will particularly honor the invaluable contributions of Grand Marshal Paul Russell, celebrating his extensive and passionate work in automotive restoration. His dedication to preserving the original construction details and design integrity of classic vehicles has made him a titan in the industry, and his restorative artistry will be prominently featured throughout the weekend.
Beyond the Show Field: A Weekend of Engagement and Innovation
The 30th Greenwich Concours is designed to offer more than just static displays; it's an immersive experience for all attendees. The festivities commence on Friday morning with 'The Grand Tour,' allowing spectators to witness a selection of competing vehicles as they embark on a scenic drive from the Malcolm Pray Achievement Center.
Saturday's agenda is dedicated to 'Concours de Sport,' a motorsports-centric celebration that will highlight automotive design, performance, and innovation. Judged classes on this day will include the potent Shelby GT350s, the beloved Japanese Z Cars, and an exploration of 'Sports Car Evolution' spanning the 1960s to the 1980s. Sunday's 'Concours d'Elegance' will then shift focus to the most elegant and refined models from automotive history, featuring classes such as 'Porsche Original Owners' and 'Post-War English Sports,' alongside another segment of 'Sports Car Evolution' covering the 1920s to the 1950s. In total, over 300 cars are expected to be on display throughout the weekend.
Adding a fresh dimension to the event, new for 2026 are 'High Tide Talks,' an engaging series of interviews featuring vehicle owners, drivers, and industry leaders who will share the compelling stories behind significant automobiles. Enthusiasts will also have the unique opportunity to get behind the wheel during the Hagerty Ride & Drives, presented in partnership with Mobil 1, experiencing not only classic enthusiast cars but also the latest models from BMW, Lotus, Polestar, and Rivian. The combination of historic prestige and forward-looking engagement ensures that the 30th Greenwich Concours d'Elegance will be an unforgettable chapter in its storied history, solidifying its place as a pivotal event on the global classic car calendar.
